# Privacy policy Last updated 24 October 2026 The Bingsu app sends us nothing. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and keeps no mailing list. Below is where your data goes when you choose to send it somewhere. ## The app - Your recordings, their names, transcripts and settings stay on your computer. We never receive them. - There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no telemetry. - Once a day, Bingsu checks for updates by downloading a small file from bingsustudio.com that lists the latest version. The request tells the server the version you have. Like any web request, it also shows your IP address to Cloudflare, which serves the file. You can turn the check off in Settings. ## The camera, microphones and Faces - Bingsu uses a camera or a microphone only when you pick it for a recording, and only after macOS has asked you. AI agents need a second switch in Settings, Agents, which is off until you turn it on. - Faces finds the people in your camera and in a call window on your computer, with Apple's on-device frameworks. It stores nothing about a face and sends nothing anywhere. Only the video you record holds the picture. - When you record other people, the laws where you and they live may require their consent. Bingsu reminds you to tell them. Asking is up to you. ## Transcripts and summaries Transcripts, titles, summaries and chapters are made on your computer by Apple's on-device models. The first time you use a language, macOS may download its speech model from Apple, under [Apple's privacy policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). ## Share pages A share page is a folder that you publish on a host you choose, such as Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, Netlify, GitHub Pages or ChatGPT Sites. We are not part of it. We never see the page, its address or its viewers. The host handles viewers' requests under its own privacy policy. If a page collects notes from viewers, they are stored where its publisher set that up. ## AI agents When you connect an AI agent, it talks to Bingsu on your computer. What Bingsu answers, such as file paths, screenshots, transcripts and recording details, goes into your conversation with that agent. The agent's maker (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) may process it on its servers under its own terms. You decide which agents may record, and Settings, Agents lets you revoke any of them. None of it reaches us. ## This website - No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no fonts or scripts from other sites. - Cloudflare hosts this website and the Mac download. Like any web server, it processes your IP address and the details of each request to deliver pages and stop attacks. We do not use those logs to identify anyone. La app Bingsu no nos envía nada. Este sitio web no usa cookies, no ejecuta analíticas y no tiene lista de correo. A continuación se explica adónde van tus datos cuando decides enviarlos a algún sitio.
La app
- Tus grabaciones, sus nombres, las transcripciones y los ajustes se quedan en tu ordenador. Nunca los recibimos.

- Una vez al día, Bingsu busca actualizaciones descargando de bingsustudio.com un archivo pequeño que indica la última versión. La petición le dice al servidor qué versión tienes. Como cualquier petición web, también muestra tu dirección IP a Cloudflare, que sirve el archivo. Puedes desactivar la comprobación en «Settings».
La cámara, los micrófonos y Caras
- Bingsu usa una cámara o un micrófono solo cuando lo eliges para una grabación, y solo después de que macOS te lo haya preguntado. Los agentes de IA necesitan un segundo interruptor en «Settings», «Agents», que está desactivado hasta que lo actives.
- Caras encuentra a las personas de tu cámara y de la ventana de una llamada en tu ordenador, con los frameworks de Apple que funcionan en el dispositivo. No guarda nada sobre ninguna cara ni envía nada a ningún sitio. Solo el vídeo que grabas contiene la imagen.
- Cuando grabas a otras personas, las leyes del lugar donde vivís tú y ellas pueden exigir su consentimiento. Bingsu te recuerda que se lo digas. Pedirlo depende de ti.
Transcripciones y resúmenes
Las transcripciones, los títulos, los resúmenes y los capítulos se hacen en tu ordenador con los modelos de Apple que funcionan en el dispositivo. La primera vez que usas un idioma, macOS puede descargar su modelo de voz de Apple, según la política de privacidad de Apple.
Páginas para compartir
Una página para compartir es una carpeta que publicas en el hosting que elijas, como Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, Netlify, GitHub Pages o ChatGPT Sites. Nosotros no participamos. Nunca vemos la página, su dirección ni quién la ve. El hosting gestiona las peticiones de quienes la ven según su propia política de privacidad. Si una página recoge notas de quienes la ven, se guardan donde lo haya configurado quien la publica.
Agentes de IA
Cuando conectas un agente de IA, este se comunica con Bingsu en tu ordenador. Lo que Bingsu responde, como rutas de archivos, capturas de pantalla, transcripciones y detalles de las grabaciones, pasa a tu conversación con ese agente. El creador del agente (por ejemplo, Anthropic u OpenAI) puede procesarlo en sus servidores según sus propias condiciones. Tú decides qué agentes pueden grabar, y en «Settings», «Agents» puedes revocar el permiso a cualquiera de ellos. Nada de ello nos llega.
Este sitio web
- Sin cookies, sin analíticas, sin publicidad, sin píxeles de seguimiento y sin fuentes ni scripts de otros sitios.
- Cloudflare aloja este sitio web y la descarga para Mac. Como cualquier servidor web, procesa tu dirección IP y los detalles de cada petición para servir las páginas y frenar ataques. No usamos esos registros para identificar a nadie. Consulta la política de privacidad de Cloudflare.
- Los pequeños programas que sirven la descarga para Mac, el canal de actualizaciones y las direcciones www y docs guardan un registro de cada petición (la dirección solicitada, la hora, el resultado y los detalles de la petición de Cloudflare) durante un máximo de 7 días, para detectar fallos y abusos. Después, Cloudflare lo borra.
- Las descargas para Windows y Linux vienen de GitHub, que ve la petición. Consulta la declaración de privacidad de GitHub.
- El sitio no tiene formularios ni registro. No tenemos lista de correo electrónico.
