# Privacy policy Last updated 24 October 2026 The Bingsu app sends us nothing. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and keeps no mailing list. Below is where your data goes when you choose to send it somewhere. ## The app - Your recordings, their names, transcripts and settings stay on your computer. We never receive them. - There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no telemetry. - Once a day, Bingsu checks for updates by downloading a small file from bingsustudio.com that lists the latest version. The request tells the server the version you have. Like any web request, it also shows your IP address to Cloudflare, which serves the file. You can turn the check off in Settings. ## The camera, microphones and Faces - Bingsu uses a camera or a microphone only when you pick it for a recording, and only after macOS has asked you. AI agents need a second switch in Settings, Agents, which is off until you turn it on. - Faces finds the people in your camera and in a call window on your computer, with Apple's on-device frameworks. It stores nothing about a face and sends nothing anywhere. Only the video you record holds the picture. - When you record other people, the laws where you and they live may require their consent. Bingsu reminds you to tell them. Asking is up to you. ## Transcripts and summaries Transcripts, titles, summaries and chapters are made on your computer by Apple's on-device models. The first time you use a language, macOS may download its speech model from Apple, under [Apple's privacy policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). ## Share pages A share page is a folder that you publish on a host you choose, such as Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, Netlify, GitHub Pages or ChatGPT Sites. We are not part of it. We never see the page, its address or its viewers. The host handles viewers' requests under its own privacy policy. If a page collects notes from viewers, they are stored where its publisher set that up. ## AI agents When you connect an AI agent, it talks to Bingsu on your computer. What Bingsu answers, such as file paths, screenshots, transcripts and recording details, goes into your conversation with that agent. The agent's maker (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) may process it on its servers under its own terms. You decide which agents may record, and Settings, Agents lets you revoke any of them. None of it reaches us. ## This website - No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no fonts or scripts from other sites. - Cloudflare hosts this website and the Mac download. Like any web server, it processes your IP address and the details of each request to deliver pages and stop attacks. We do not use those logs to identify anyone. O app
- As suas gravações, os nomes delas, as transcrições e os ajustes ficam no seu computador. Nós nunca os recebemos.
- Não há conta, analytics, relatórios de falhas nem telemetria.
- Uma vez por dia, o Bingsu procura atualizações baixando do bingsustudio.com um arquivo pequeno que lista a versão mais recente. A requisição informa ao servidor a versão que você tem. Como qualquer requisição na web, ela também mostra o seu endereço IP à Cloudflare, que serve o arquivo. Você pode desativar a verificação nos Ajustes.
A câmera, os microfones e Rostos
- O Bingsu só usa uma câmera ou um microfone quando você o escolhe para uma gravação, e só depois que o macOS perguntou a você. Agentes de IA precisam de uma segunda chave em Ajustes, Agentes, que fica desligada até você ligá-la.
- Rostos encontra as pessoas na sua câmera e numa janela de chamada no seu computador, com os frameworks da Apple que rodam no próprio aparelho. Ele não guarda nada sobre um rosto e não envia nada a lugar nenhum. Só o vídeo que você grava contém a imagem.
- Quando você grava outras pessoas, as leis do lugar onde você e elas vivem podem exigir o consentimento delas. O Bingsu lembra você de avisá-las. Pedir cabe a você.
Transcrições e resumos
Transcrições, títulos, resumos e capítulos são feitos no seu computador pelos modelos da Apple que rodam no próprio aparelho. Na primeira vez que você usa um idioma, o macOS pode baixar o modelo de fala dele da Apple, sob a política de privacidade da Apple.
Páginas para compartilhar
Uma página para compartilhar é uma pasta que você publica numa hospedagem que você escolhe, como Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, Netlify, GitHub Pages ou ChatGPT Sites. Nós não fazemos parte disso. Nunca vemos a página, o endereço dela nem quem a assiste. A hospedagem trata as requisições de quem assiste sob a própria política de privacidade. Se uma página coleta notas de quem assiste, elas ficam guardadas onde quem a publicou configurou.
Agentes de IA
Quando você conecta um agente de IA, ele conversa com o Bingsu no seu computador. O que o Bingsu responde, como caminhos de arquivos, capturas de tela, transcrições e detalhes das gravações, entra na sua conversa com esse agente. A empresa que faz o agente (por exemplo, a Anthropic ou a OpenAI) pode processar isso nos servidores dela, sob os próprios termos. Você decide quais agentes podem gravar, e em Ajustes, Agentes você pode revogar qualquer um deles. Nada disso chega até nós.
Este site
- Sem cookies, sem analytics, sem publicidade, sem pixels de rastreamento e sem fontes ou scripts de outros sites.
- A Cloudflare hospeda este site e o download para Mac. Como qualquer servidor web, ela processa o seu endereço IP e os detalhes de cada requisição para entregar as páginas e barrar ataques. Nós não usamos esses logs para identificar ninguém. Veja a política de privacidade da Cloudflare.
- Os pequenos programas que servem o download para Mac, o feed de atualizações e os endereços www e docs guardam um log de cada requisição (o endereço pedido, o horário, o resultado e os detalhes da requisição da Cloudflare) por até 7 dias, para encontrar falhas e abusos. Depois disso, a Cloudflare o apaga.
- Os downloads para Windows e Linux vêm do GitHub, que vê a requisição. Veja a declaração de privacidade do GitHub.
- O site não tem formulários nem cadastro. Não mantemos lista de e-mails.
- Se você nos mandar um e-mail, guardamos a sua mensagem só pelo tempo necessário para respondê-la e dar seguimento.
