# Privacy policy Last updated 24 October 2026 The Bingsu app sends us nothing. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and keeps no mailing list. Below is where your data goes when you choose to send it somewhere. ## The app - Your recordings, their names, transcripts and settings stay on your computer. We never receive them. - There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no telemetry. - Once a day, Bingsu checks for updates by downloading a small file from bingsustudio.com that lists the latest version. The request tells the server the version you have. Like any web request, it also shows your IP address to Cloudflare, which serves the file. You can turn the check off in Settings. ## The camera, microphones and Faces - Bingsu uses a camera or a microphone only when you pick it for a recording, and only after macOS has asked you. AI agents need a second switch in Settings, Agents, which is off until you turn it on. - Faces finds the people in your camera and in a call window on your computer, with Apple's on-device frameworks. It stores nothing about a face and sends nothing anywhere. Only the video you record holds the picture. - When you record other people, the laws where you and they live may require their consent. Bingsu reminds you to tell them. Asking is up to you. ## Transcripts and summaries Transcripts, titles, summaries and chapters are made on your computer by Apple's on-device models. The first time you use a language, macOS may download its speech model from Apple, under [Apple's privacy policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). ## Share pages A share page is a folder that you publish on a host you choose, such as Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, Netlify, GitHub Pages or ChatGPT Sites. We are not part of it. We never see the page, its address or its viewers. The host handles viewers' requests under its own privacy policy. If a page collects notes from viewers, they are stored where its publisher set that up. ## AI agents When you connect an AI agent, it talks to Bingsu on your computer. What Bingsu answers, such as file paths, screenshots, transcripts and recording details, goes into your conversation with that agent. The agent's maker (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) may process it on its servers under its own terms. You decide which agents may record, and Settings, Agents lets you revoke any of them. None of it reaches us. ## This website - No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no fonts or scripts from other sites. - Cloudflare hosts this website and the Mac download. Like any web server, it processes your IP address and the details of each request to deliver pages and stop attacks. We do not use those logs to identify anyone. Die Bingsu-App sendet uns nichts. Diese Website setzt keine Cookies, nutzt keine Analyse und führt keine Mailingliste. Unten steht, wohin deine Daten gehen, wenn du dich entscheidest, sie irgendwohin zu senden.
Die App
- Deine Aufnahmen, ihre Namen, Transkripte und Einstellungen bleiben auf deinem Computer. Wir erhalten sie nie.
- Es gibt kein Konto, keine Analyse, keine Absturzberichte und keine Telemetrie.
- Einmal am Tag sucht Bingsu nach Updates und lädt dafür von bingsustudio.com eine kleine Datei, in der die neueste Version steht. Die Anfrage teilt dem Server mit, welche Version du hast. Wie jede Webanfrage zeigt sie außerdem deine IP-Adresse gegenüber Cloudflare, das die Datei ausliefert. Du kannst die Suche in den Settings ausschalten.
Die Kamera, Mikrofone und Gesichter
- Bingsu nutzt eine Kamera oder ein Mikrofon nur, wenn du sie für eine Aufnahme auswählst, und erst, nachdem macOS dich gefragt hat. KI-Agenten brauchen einen zweiten Schalter unter Settings, Agents, der aus ist, bis du ihn einschaltest.
- Gesichter findet die Personen in deiner Kamera und in einem Anruffenster auf deinem Computer, mit den Frameworks von Apple, die direkt auf dem Gerät laufen. Es speichert nichts über ein Gesicht und sendet nichts irgendwohin. Nur das Video, das du aufnimmst, enthält das Bild.
- Wenn du andere Menschen aufnimmst, können die Gesetze dort, wo du und sie leben, ihre Zustimmung verlangen. Bingsu erinnert dich daran, es ihnen zu sagen. Die Zustimmung einzuholen ist deine Sache.
Transkripte und Zusammenfassungen
Transkripte, Titel, Zusammenfassungen und Kapitel entstehen auf deinem Computer, mit den Modellen von Apple, die direkt auf dem Gerät laufen. Wenn du eine Sprache zum ersten Mal nutzt, kann macOS ihr Sprachmodell von Apple laden, gemäß der Datenschutzrichtlinie von Apple.
Freigabeseiten
Eine Freigabeseite ist ein Ordner, den du auf einem Host deiner Wahl veröffentlichst, etwa Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, Netlify, GitHub Pages oder ChatGPT Sites. Wir sind daran nicht beteiligt. Wir sehen nie die Seite, ihre Adresse oder ihre Zuschauer. Der Host bearbeitet die Anfragen der Zuschauer nach seiner eigenen Datenschutzerklärung. Wenn eine Seite Notizen von Zuschauern sammelt, werden sie dort gespeichert, wo die veröffentlichende Person das eingerichtet hat.
KI-Agenten
Wenn du einen KI-Agenten verbindest, spricht er auf deinem Computer mit Bingsu. Was Bingsu antwortet, etwa Dateipfade, Screenshots, Transkripte und Details zu Aufnahmen, fließt in deine Unterhaltung mit diesem Agenten. Der Anbieter des Agenten (zum Beispiel Anthropic oder OpenAI) kann es nach seinen eigenen Bedingungen auf seinen Servern verarbeiten. Du entscheidest, welche Agenten aufnehmen dürfen, und unter Settings, Agents kannst du jedem davon die Erlaubnis entziehen. Nichts davon erreicht uns.
Diese Website
- Keine Cookies, keine Analyse, keine Werbung, keine Tracking-Pixel und keine Schriften oder Skripte von anderen Websites.
- Cloudflare hostet diese Website und den Mac-Download. Wie jeder Webserver verarbeitet Cloudflare deine IP-Adresse und die Details jeder Anfrage, um Seiten auszuliefern und Angriffe abzuwehren. Wir nutzen diese Protokolle nicht, um jemanden zu identifizieren. Siehe die Datenschutzerklärung von Cloudflare.
- Die kleinen Programme, die den Mac-Download, den Update-Feed und die Adressen www und docs ausliefern, protokollieren jede Anfrage (die angefragte Adresse, die Uhrzeit, das Ergebnis und die Anfragedetails von Cloudflare) bis zu 7 Tage lang, um Fehler und Missbrauch zu finden. Danach löscht Cloudflare das Protokoll.
