Record a Microsoft Teams call with every face
Record a customer call or a team demo in Microsoft Teams with every face in view, not only yours. Fix one voice later without touching the others.
How to record it
- In Bingsu’s menu bar panel, choose Window and pick the Microsoft Teams call.
- Bingsu finds each person in the call and adds them as a bubble: up to 4 guests, plus your camera.
- Pick one bubble for whoever is speaking, or one bubble per guest. Drag, resize, reshape or hide any of them.
Which window Bingsu looks for
The meeting window of the new or the classic Teams app, not the Chat or Calendar sections. The light and the dark theme both work.
Any other window works too: choose Find faces in this window.
The Teams desktop app has no Linux version; on Linux, record Teams in the browser instead.
The sound
Each guest’s voice comes from Microsoft Teams’s own sound, on a track of its own. Yours comes from your microphone. Set each track’s level later, or press Balance. Faces and voices are found on your computer; nothing is uploaded.
From an agent
An agent you have allowed can record the call with the same bubbles:
bingsu record --face call=teams,follow=speaker
Over MCP, bingsu_start takes "faces": [{"call": "teams", "follow": "speaker"}].
Before you record
Tell everyone on the call that you are recording. In many places the law requires their consent.
Every call app
Next time, show it.
Record it once and send a link. Or let your agent do the recording.
