Bingsu 1.0.0
Recording
- Screen, window, app and area. A window keeps recording when other windows cover it, with only that app's sound.
- Mac or app sound and any number of microphones, each on its own track, plus a mixed track.
- HEVC, H.264 and ProRes 422 with hardware encoding, at the screen's native resolution.
- Pause with no gap, exact timed stops, and a pause when the screen locks.
- Crash-safe two-second pieces, recovery of half-written files, and a check of every file after saving.
- Refuses to start with under 1 GB free and saves the recording at 400 MB.
Camera
- A camera bubble in any corner, circle or rounded, three sizes, mirrored, drawn into the file, with the raw camera on its own track.
- Camera only, and setups for a quick clip, a product demo, a talking head, a podcast and a remote call.
Editing and sharing
- An editor for trims, cuts and crops, with HEVC, H.264, ProRes, GIF and sound-only copies.
- Share pages: a static website per recording, with link previews and an email snippet.
Agents
- The bingsu command and an MCP server with 17 tools.
- Several agents recording at once, each owning its recordings, shown in the menu bar.
- Camera and microphones for agents behind their own switch, off at first.
Next time, show it.
Record it once and send a link. Or let your agent do the recording.
