When Screenity is the better pick
- You need to record a dragged area of the screen, or the camera on its own.
- You want a GIF or WebM straight from the extension, or the file in Google Drive.
- You want a tool with six years of users and reviews behind it.
Moving to Bingsu
Your old videos stay where they are. Download Bingsu, record the next one, and publish its share page on the host your team already uses: Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify or GitHub Pages.
If you record from Chrome, Bingsu for Chrome records the tab with no account and saves the file on your computer.

Questions
Is Bingsu for Chrome a Screenity alternative?
Yes. Both are free and open source, with no account, no watermark and no time limit. Bingsu for Chrome also blurs passwords, emails and keys before the first frame and makes no network requests.
Which one keeps my recordings private?
Both save to your computer. Bingsu for Chrome has no cloud at all, so there is nothing to sign in to. Screenity’s optional Pro editor and Google Drive export send the file to a cloud.
